Or...
Paste it into [vconvert.net], choose WMV then paste it into Powerpoint.
This tutorial is long-winded and boring, but sure, it does allow mpeg where vconvert doesn't. Big Whoop.
@soapynebula: i agree with you. this is pretty weak. i watched the video thinking it would be pretty groundbreaking. i was wrong.
to sum it up:
1. extract embedded youtube click to .flv
2. convert .flv to .mpeg
3. embed in powerpoint
1. youtube.com and pick your video, copy url
2. videodownloader.net and paste url, click save as, rename as wanted with the extension .flv
3. zamzar.com upload your file for conversion into any format you want (i would concur with mpeg except it is really big, why not wmv as sugested?)
4. Wait for zamzar's email and download video
5. go to any program and embed.
Wanna know what's even easier? get the playflv program which lets you play flv's with windows media player directly and just download the flv.
Or you could just use VDownloader [www.vdownloader.es] which has a browser built into the program...navigate to the video and just click a button to download said video and automatically convert them to AVI or MPG format.
O and this program is also portable :)
Previously mentioned FLVIX can convert youtube video into AVI, MOV, MP4, 3GP, MP3 and download the file.
This video tutorial is really boring.
Well I was trying to embed a video in PowerPoint to send it via e mail, and I did everything on that video but when I get to part where I chose the SHOCK WAVE FLASH, and then chose PROPERTIES, I can't find the CUSTOM box to insert the URL, I am using power point 2003, I'll be very glad if you help me.
sorry for the writing but I am just learning how to write . thank you
The various comments in response to this tutorial video are quite erudite but the bottom line is most of these suggestions don't work while trying to embed a youtube (or any other)video into powerpoint. While this tutorial just did what it says and most importantly "IT WORKED" and may i add "PERFECTLY" .
