Blogger Pink India Ink reports an unfortunate regurgitory incident at Mario Batali's sumptuous resto Babbo on Halloween night. After a seemingly perfect dining experience, she observes the male half of another postprandial couple suddenly vomit on the floor. "I would write more about this - about the astonishing, vibrant orange color of the vomit, or about the inconceivable patience of the waitstaff when they saw the vomit ..." but unfortunately she does not. Cutting right to the chase, though, her own date remarks wisely, "You know, completely apart from how gross that was, what a waste of food!" I cry for that lost squid ink pasta, I really do.
