What's even better than a Wall-E robot toy made by WowWee? A Wall-E robot toy made by the animatronic people at Disney. This Wall-E robot is supposed to roam around Disneyland/Disney World entertaining patrons, but got spotted on the streets of LA panhandling and glad-handing for cash. You know who else can say their name? Timmy from South Park. Wall-E! [Slashfilm]

That's awesome. I'm guessing that its remote controlled by somebody on a computer.
Livin' a lie livin' a lie WALL-E!
That is awesome! And friggan huge!
Disneyland had at one point a free roaming animatronic dinosaur at the park. Of course the dude controlling it was stashed up in a building somewhere. Makes you wonder when their gonna get off their buts and update the dead presidents show. I want Lincoln to walk around and frighten children.
Does anyone think of Johnny 5 when they see this? Short Circuit? Anybody? No? Well maybe it's just me then.
@KJA: I really want to see a Wall-E that is truly autonomous...shouldn't be hard for those imagineers to conjure up
I am excited for this movie to come out! Pixar does not disappoint
@skilldwax:
yes .. Johnny 5, IS ALIVE!
Mark this off as the 20th Wall-E post where someone compared him to Johnny 5.
I'm pretty sure it was "Number 5". There was no "Johnny" in Short Circuit... And it def reminds me of #5. Same voice..
@tg7400: let me be the first to correct myself. it was indeed "Johnny 5". it's been a while...
Stephanie! Breakfast!
Wall E is going to be great. It'll make up for the steaming pile that "Cars" was.
I consider myself a pretty macho guy but this little fugger is damn cute.
It doesnt appear to have the same arm freedom as the movie Wall E (ie the tracks that his arms move on), but I wonder how advanced this is. Just a R/C deal or is it autonomous? Still fucking awesome though.
No shit! Where see shit?
Am I the only one that's just a tad tired of the Johnny 5 comparisons?
While we're comparing anyway, I'm gonna just up and accuse the designers at work under Cameron for Terminator 2 for their HK Tank.

OMG JOHNNY FIVE RIPOFF!
That is all kinds of bad ass!
but how do they get the midget inside?
@KJA: @outinthedark: It's not awesome, it's AWESOM-O!
@Kaiser-Machead: There's your non Johnny 5 reference.
@rudeadly: They use the same stuff stick that the post office uses to stuff all that crap in your po box.
quick someone grab him and gold plate him so he can continue his search for jonny 5
but really, wow... his movement is pretty smooth
Will this work on my mac?
@bpatten: Quick, I'll compare him to ET too, so we got both those bases covered! ;)
But seriously, see this:

Focus quote:
"Stanton did go on to say that Johnny 5 from Short Circuit might have "unconsciously" been inspiration, but it primarily came from binoculars as referenced in that story."
There you have it, the word from the Pixar guru's mouth!
What the heck is the guy in the pink shirt doing behind him? Errrr....Who stands like that anyway?
Who knew world domination would be so adorable.
@JeepMcMuddy:
Dood! Hes totally playing pocket pool. Minus the pocket.
hahaha... Pocket pool?
I'm definitely thinking "controller of Wall*E"
Can I spend more money and buy the giant version instead of the smaller toy? Seriously, how much do you think this mega wall-e costs?
I DEFINATELY WANT ONE!!!!
and that guy might have a weird fetish for robots?
I'd definitely suck on a Popsicle he sold me...
Yummm...
@LindsayJoy: aw, come on - this is Disneyland, it's meant to be a family resort :P ;)
Why is the guy in the pink holding his cock?
"Input.....Output...."
I want one.
@Step666:
So you are saying its better for kids to suck on Popsicles?
You sick sick man.
I think its much better for me to do it.
Anyways, didn't Snow White living with 7 dwarves teach you anything about Disney?
THE CUTENESS! IT BURNS! IT BURNS!
I think the pink man is holding a remote, I see his thumb moving against a black thingy.
@JeepMcMuddy: at first I thought it was the guy with the remote, but half way thru, he just looks like someone who is standing really weird.
I find this comically cute. They even got "him" to do that tippy-toe raise just right! The treads sound a bit too noisy though. Too bad I'm nowhere near California to see this.
@LindsayJoy: madam, I concede, you win.
There is nothing I can say to best that comment.
I always DID Wall-E was the love child of JONNY-5
Sorry, I always thought Wall-E was the character blend between JONNY-5 and E.T. A cute, naive, lost little robot looking for someone to love. If I saw it in public I'd give it a big hug, who wouldn't? I want one soooooo badly.
It is sooo adorable! And for some unreasonably sick reason the first thought that came to me: baseball bat.
This is significantly less creepy than the other animatronics at Disneyland since he's supposed to be a robot. Lincoln I'm not so sure about... he looks a bit evil.

For the record, I was just in Disney Land yesterday. I looked all over for it and then headed to the Pixar section in California Adventure and asked them about it and nobody had heard of it....So wtf I say
omgs... Thats cute, watching the preview for the movie made me go awwww....
yes I'm sad lol
I hate that pos. I wish they did not give it that annoying voice. If it sound like that through out the movie, I think they just ruined it for me.
